I don't know about you but I'm feeling very empowered right now!!! I've vowed to not drag any baggage from the past into the new year and to fix once and for all whatever damage I did to myself by doing that in the past. I feel a strong commitment to it...finally. Happy new year to you as well. Good to know that there are more of us out there who like a low key time. I spent an hour and a half in 30 degree weather with my niece and her mom and dad so that she could spend two minutes spinning round and round in the Orbitron. After that, I only made it to the fireworks and crashed before the ball dropped. Here's to a more exciting 08:)

Speaking of Shrek - I went to the Jewish Museum in NY over the weekend, and saw 3 FABULOUS exhibits there: Camille Pissarro, Isaac Bashevis Singer, which featured a short film on him which was Hysterical!, and an exhibit on William Steig, the longtime illustrator for The New Yorker and the creator of Shrek - If you happen to be in NY soon, head to the museum before these exhibits close -

Anyway - glad you started the new year with people you love, even if you were looking at the inside of your own eyelids at the time - : )

I wanted to be a Grinch and blow off New Years and instead ended up going out to dinner with 3 great guys and heading to a really nice party afterwards with good friends, great conversation, and delicious food. Can't complain : )
