Just got back from Prince Caspian - I liked it even more than the first Narnia installment.

My kids (6 & 8) loved it, though my daughter cried at the end... I think mostly due to this song by Regina Spektor (The Call) - so beautiful yet haunting at the same time:

I'm hoping to go to the Hotel Cafe tour when it stops in Phx on March 11th.

I also just saw a bulletin from The Frames - attempting to decipher - but I think Glen/Marketa will be coming to the Orpheum on April 23rd. It's not on the Orpheum site yet.

Anyone Arizonians from this lovely board going to either of these? Are there any other worthwhile upcoming shows I'm missing?

I went to Prescott this weekend for a retreat with our church youth group. I was bummed this year that a lot of the kids cell phones actually worked - they must have put in a tower somewhere nearby.

You can count on all of the following at a junior high/high school youth retreat:

- 2 hours max sleep each night
- A very hard mattress
- Fighting to squeeze in between girls doing makeup and straightening hair to wash your hands
- A clogged toilet or two
- Eating tons of junk food
