I mean, who in their right mind in a choice between pancakes and living chooses pancakes? .... if you pause to think, you'd realize that that answer is inextricably contingent upon the type of life being led... and, of course, the quality of the pancakes.
I GOT THE JOB IN NY!! I OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED THE OFFER TODAY AND WILL BE LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY IN LESS THAN ONE MONTH!!!
sidenote: Keith (Gessen) took me on our third date -- a place called the Tea Room. I arrived after my last interview and he was perched on a two-person couch with a pot of tea for us to split. We talked for several hours (again) and then strolled around brooklyn holding hands. He is an absolute gentleman. I am (still) smitten!
I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!
Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.
The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.
thanks for the nice comment, though I am not a MN guy ... just a tourist. my wife's parents live there (actually she was just back there last weekend) and she's lived there and has a lot of friends who live in or around uptown.
I tend to want to steer clear this time of year but after your tubing comment I may reconsider. so do you have the best of both worlds... CA in winter and MN in summer?
I have to be honest, I missed both chances I had to see them live in Atlanta for free when they were still together and I was sad because on their recordings they are tight as could be and have incredible harmonies.
However, as a musician, I know that many bands sound great in the studio recordings (because a bunch of stuff gets fixed or they aren't even the ones playing it) and they can really suck live. That's why I made it my philosophy to never record things in the studio I can't reproduce live. Some people really hate "my rule" but it has made every band I've ever had better live as a result. So I don't blame you for not being a fan or spending a dime on Marv 3 if they gave you permanent ear drum damage.
