- although the coffee did succeed in robbing me of all but 15 minutes of sleep the other night, it has not had the same jarring effect as these words that were said to me a few months back, "well, you're a writer. you know how it is. you just write and you write and you write."
i wasn't flattered. i felt like a fraud. since then, i've been picking away at the pieces of shrapnel, except for the one dangerously close to my heart.
i assembled an away team, and i await their return. last communication from them came in the form of a smart phone with a fine QWERTY board for those with fat opposable thumbs. they hurled it at my head. that was back in august.
thank you for the melange. if you happen to have any of that coffee where the beans were pooped out of a cat, maybe i'll give that a try because that is how i feel.
